Deborah Keesey is an attorney licensed to practice law in the states of California and Hawaii. She is a partner at Burkley Brandlin Swatik & Keesey LLP and practices extensively in the fields of probate and trust litigation, conservatorships, estate planning, and business law. Ms. Keesey is dedicated to providing the optimal solution and expert cost-effective service for every client while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Ms. Keesey’s broad spectrum of experience stems from an early civil litigation practice in Hawaii after graduating from Cornell Law School with a concentration in Business Law & Regulation. She built on those skills and combined them with a global project finance practice at the Los Angeles office of the international law firm of Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy. Ms. Keesey earned her undergraduate degree in business from the University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business with Honors, and an emphasis in Accounting, Finance and Marketing.

Ms. Keesey also serves in many professional and community service organizations including the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Probate Volunteer Panel and Pro Bono Probate Settlement Officer Program, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association Trusts and Estates Executive Committee and Lawyer Referral Service Committee. Ms. Keesey is also an Officer and Director of the Board of the South Bay Bar Association, a member of the Honorable Benjamin Aranda, III, American Inn of Court, a Director of the Board of The Volunteer Center, a member of the Torrance Memorial Medical Center’s Professional Advisory Council, and a lecturer at the Healthcare & Elder Law Programs Non-Profit Corporation.

Ms. Keesey is admitted to practice before all the courts in the State of California and the State of Hawaii, in addition to the U.S. Federal District Courts for the Central District of California, and the District Courts of Hawaii.
